STATEMENT

From my earliest days as a painter, I have been intrigued by the mystical qualities of color. For me, color is a powerful communicator of emotions and a window for introspection. Color speaks to me, and is the driving force of my work. From my first paintings as an art student to the present, my relationship with color has led me down unexpected pathways of self-expression.

Over the years, my perspective on color has changed; my abstract paintings have evolved as a result. Rather than focusing solely on geometric-inspired shapes, as I did in my early canvases, I now reimagined the circle, oval, and triangle as starting points for embracing color’s positive energy. This approach has led to the creation of more contemplative works that engage the viewer in a soulful and joyful way.
